ARCH KRGT-1 REVIEW
Arch KRGT-1 Review
The KRGT-1 is translated into the first production bike of the partnership between Reeves and veteran custom builder Gard Hollinger in an effort called the Arch Motorcycle. Exotic custom motorcycle riding with actor Keanu Reeves seemed an unlikely scenario. the size relieved to see the engineering behind Arch KRGT-1 is larger than many builders boutiques passing day, some of them will just bolt the motor crates to the frame off-the-shelf and adding fender that may or may not come from suppliers of aftermarket different.
bike design is a bit of a mishmash. It definitely has a heart cruiser, with v-twin engine is 124 cubic inch big defeat. It 2,032cc in metric, and was riding a wave of giant 122 foot-pounds of peak torque to 122 horsepower. It has control of the front legs of a car or helicopter, which manifests in a laid back, king-of-the-road type riding position. It also got very fat, 240-section rear tire, and just about everything is carved from billet aluminum. But chopperisms stops abruptly where the header pipes merge into evil sporty exhaust.
The fork is fully adjustable Ohlins units, shock is fully adjustable with Tech Race, the wheels are ultra-lightweight carbon fiber and brake work ISR 6-piston monobloc radial twin monsters. This is not the specification of a bike event - it was made to be ridden, and ridden hard.
Keeping a narrow bike, engine air intake is positioned above and behind the lights billet motor housing, which looks fantastic. the tank is divided into two fuel cells, both carved out of aluminum, which allows the frame tubes to be exposed directly from the headstock to the chair.
A primer Bandit belt working with the right side of the chain final drive. An upswept Yoshimura exhaust with carbon fiber end cap. A reflective bay-style LED taillights. Neat bar-end mirrors. And the buyer's choice of bars get up 2 or 3-inch, forward or mid-control, and narrow or wide footpegs mounted.
Arch KRGT-1 Specs Review :
Although KRGT-1 is a 68-inch long wheelbase and has a weight of 613 pounds full of fuel it was very crowded. Muscles bar and movie bike from side to side with peace of respectable, and ISR brakes with six piston calipers front twin provide great stopping power. And thanks to the rear suspension has more than a few inches of travel, outstanding cornering clearance for a cruise ship. Two-piece gas tank and solo tail engine from billet aluminum, anodized any color the buyer wants. Surprisingly there is no brand name or model anywhere on the bike except the dashboard, for the sake of subtlety. curved double-cradle steel frame combined with a billet swingarm with billet side plates. A billet oil tank which joins the engine and gearbox.
Yet, surprisingly, thanks to the muscular stance and 240 / 40-18 rear tires Michelin Commander, which KRGT-1 feels like there is so much as the Diavel. True, with high-tech, 160-horsepower Ducati Desmo will wax Arch in dragrace, but the last match 122 hp and 122 pound-feet of torque that can not be taken lightly. Baker six-speed gearbox helps greatly here, compared to the typical five-speed you close up the gap between the ratios, accelerate.
However, there are some criticisms that can be used for better suggestions. with fuel injection motors mostly run well and attract a strong, low-speed throttle response can be less abrupt. Also, although a fully adjustable Öhlins forks and Race Tech shock of high quality pieces, the rear tends to chatter in the corners fluttered.
