EBR 1990 RX SPECS
EBR 1990 RX Specs
A blessing in disguise for Erik Buell in a short time, has established EBR and immediately began working in a rather small only 13 employees in East Troy, Wisconsin. Erik prefer to go with the model of the future remains to be seen, but if this is any indication of what he wants to build all together.
EBR is the very definition of the American spirit that embodies the superb technology from around the world. Is Austria the four-stroke, liquid-cooled power plants or suspension components Sweden, EBR engineers integration into the global performance of each model. After all the drama closure Erik Buell and resurfacing with his own company, we now have the first fruits of that effort, the full and, apparently, somewhat brutal capable, motor sport.
Erik has shown he is able to build a good motorcycle. but looking at it compared to something from a company like Ducati in the hands of someone who can make full use of his ability to be very interesting. The first production of Erik Buell Racing (EBR) is a type 1190RS sportbike which is basically a special homologation so that they could go racing. EBR 1190RS is produced is very limited, with only about 100 units of production, and with prices ranging from $ 39,999. You will not be as likely to have one soon and unless sold, may be a while before we see any follow-up models.
EBR 1190RX First on the menu is a motorcycle evolution of the RS and Buell Barracuda 2 prototype in 2010, which is meant to be much more accessible for sportbike enthusiasts. The new 1190RX stablemate could resemble carbon fiber clad exotic in appearance and share many common design concept of its predecessor, but using the RX 426 new parts and has obviously evolved since EBR 1190RS was released about two years ago.
EBR 1990 RX Specs
At the heart pacemaker sector EBR 1190RX is the engine capacity of 1190cc V-twin, 72 degrees which started life in hospital but has since been refined to be more assertive in capability. Crankshaft increased 175-185 horsepower at 10,000 rpm, and there has been a surge of torque from 5 pound-feet, to 102 around 8000 rpm. This machine is used as a stressed member while the swingarm pivot at the rear of the case. Showa suspension is used at both ends: Big Piston Fork and non-linkage-type remote-reservoir shock, both fully adjustable.
One old EBR signature feature is the perimeter 386mm single disc brake with eight-piston Nissin caliper inside-out. Hayes out back is a two-piston caliper with a 220mm disc. Hubless cast-aluminum lightweight wheels reduce unsprung weight, while the magnesium subframe helps centralize mass and keeping the overall weight to claim a 419-pound, fuel sans.
ride EBR 1190RX provides a great opportunity to test fuel injection in-house developed this EBR. Throttle response really really good and predictable. EFI uses twin Dell'Orto 61mm throttle body with conventional injectors close to the intake valves and secondary shower unit. Is different from the previous hospital suffering from poor refueling when driving around town and intermittent delivery at low rpm. RS when opening the throttle of midcorner closed position, it feels a bit like racing flatslide carbohydrates, providing little coughing and snorting before the event starts. EBR 1190RX has made it like a distant memory.
traction control set to establish 14 (of 21) on a full-color thin-film transistor LCD screen. This system relies on sensors, rear-wheel-speed and reactionary force intervention and prediction based on a variety of data fed to the ECU. In short, 55.5-in. wheelbase and steep 22.4 degrees of rake, bike handled well and fairly flickable, but also stable under power, partly thanks to the steering damper Showa. This shock damping keeps the rear is controlled as worn tires squirm under power, while the fork is provided an excellent sense of what to do next Pirelli, even in the wet.
