Honda has rolled the dice with this new all - on-the-ground-up machines, gambling that there are legions of current, past and prospective riders out there who want practicality, efficiency and affordability many of them crave for 190 horsepower, 9 second quarter-mile and five-digit price tag. It promises a fun, exciting experience of riding together with the practicality and ease of use that makes the machine very suitable for daily commuting.

It wants to target new buyers and re-entry with an affordable but fun machine that is very easy to ride and fuel efficiency delivered outstanding. At the heart of the NC700X is the engine and purpose-built packet transmission, engine SOHC liquid-cooled parallel-twin with a displacement of 670 cc. in-line engine 670cc 2-cylinder liquid-cooled unit is lightweight and compact with a low center of gravity. It offers a very useful power delivery with low exhaust emissions and fuel economy is outstanding.

This machine is driven by a 3.7-gallon fuel tank and can be combined with a conventional six-speed transmission, manual-clutch, or automatically Honda Dual Clutch Transmission. The main emphasis is placed on fuel efficiency and torque are used, and the designer was inspired by the architecture of efficient and compact 1.5-liter inline-Four that powers Honda Fit car, minus two cylinders. The NC700X is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a conventional second generation of Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission. This system uses two hydraulic clutches controlled to provide rapid gear changes and is very smooth in three modes.
