2017 FORD MUSTANG MRT FASTBACK SPORT TOURING
2017 Ford Mustang MRT Fastback Sport Touring-The sixth-generation Mustang has received dozens of aftermarket tuning programs and endless upgrade of stores in the United States and even Europe. Launched for the 2015 model year. Ford is working on an update for the 2018 factory, but that will not stop tuning company from releasing new program. 2016 SEMA Show will bring some new Mustang project into the spotlight, one of which is Fastback Sport Touring by MRT.
Based on the mid-level EcoBoost Mustang, Sport Touring came to Los Angeles to prove that Mustang mods are not necessarily built around the V-8 engine. Using the 2.3-liter EcoBoost same you get from a dealer, but pimped-out by means of a supercharger, Sport Touring has everything you need to give any Mustang project run for its money. It was finished in custom paint job, it is packed with carbon fiber inside and out, and may have enough strength to put some V-8 cars to shame. I say "probably" because there is no official specs yet, but upgraded speak for themselves.
build MRT Mustang joins other interesting projects in the 2016 SEMA Show, including Pearl Candy Orange Concept and restomod Shelby GT350 by Revology Car. Find out what sets it apart in the review below.
Interior & Exterior Ford Mustang MRT
talk Interior MRT Mustang gets more carbon fiber. The front seats Sparco made in made in the same lightweight materials, while the rear seats have been removed and replaced with a carbon fiber deck by Anderson Composites. MRT also add Candy Cherry red accents, short-throw shifter by MGW, and a Kicker audio system. Moreover, the fixed coupe standard EcoBoost models, but I think it only has enough features stand out as a custom Mustang.
speak exterior Although based on the Mustang EcoBoost, build MRT featuring different exterior thanks for aftermarket parts and custom paint jobs. The first thing that catches the eye is the livery, which combines matte but glossy black body with Candy Cherry accent. Bright red adorn the center of the hood, from where it extends toward the fender and then the upper door in the form of thick lines which eventually fade away as they advanced towards the rear fender. This hood is highlighted by a white "Sport Touring" letter. Red lines are the same can be seen just above the side skirt, this time in black "MRT" letter.
Apart from the paint job exotic, Sport Touring also features a carbon fiber hood, splitter, grille, side skirts, rear spoiler and rear lights panel of Anderson Composite, MRT louver windows quarter, colored glass, and pony emblem light of Ford Licensed Accessories.
Ford MRT Mustang Engineering
Although the MRT continues standards EcoBoost 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission, it adds Vortech supercharger to increase output. No word on how much horsepower and torque sent to the rear wheels, but must generate significantly more than the standard 310 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of twist. MRT also adds a stainless steel exhaust and tweaked the chassis and braking system with BC Racing coilover suspension, rotor Eradispeed Baer and Baer six-piston calipers. I have a feeling this EcoBoost 'Stang faster than the standard V-8 powered GT model.
MRT Mustang has the potential to attract attention at the show thanks to its unique paint scheme and attractive and large quantities of carbon fiber inside and out. The fact that he opted for a supercharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost V-8 instead of dropping the big under the hood gives MRT some valuable bonus points.
