Kia’s New Performance Fastback Has Begun : The Countdown To The Debut Of Kia’s-Korean automaker, Kia's long-awaited fastback sedan inching closer to making its world debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. For its part, Kia ensure that there is proper buzz around a model that should bring the "GT" name.
While the name is still kept secret, and no anticipation Kia will not let the buzz subsided. the only thing we know is that it will debut for Kia released a fastback performance to compete with some of the best German performance sedans, including the Mercedes CLS and Audi A7. Everything else though is still shrouded in mystery.

The teaser series in Curved Towards the site do point to something that is revealed about the car. at least one variant of the model can do 244 kmh at the Nürburgring, which converts to about 151 mph. While it was not exactly a reason to start salivating about the possibility of performance models, this speedometer needle shows north of 280 kmh, or 174 mph. That's where the intrigue really kicked because it could be a subtle way Kia told us that this fastback models will have different engine under the hood.
Given the market is expected to sign, would not be surprising if the model gets tuned version of the 3.3-liter V-6 engine that is currently being used by the Hyundai Genesis models. They machine is currently rated as high as 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, or perhaps they could go even higher if they were going to push the needle close to 300 kmh, or 186 miles.
It was one of the many mysteries we're dealing with the performance of the upcoming Kia fastback. could be a GT, Stinger, or even perhaps a mixture of the two. Add that to the number of questions we have about this model.
You have to do a tempting sale of a car that obviously you have high hopes for. Kia certainly put a lot of thought into this and it is easy to see why if fastback this performance is everything Korean car hoping it would be. At least, this website is dedicated got our attention in a way that very little teaser promotions are made. The company even created a dedicated website - www.thecurveahead.net - for the specific models, complete with a massive countdown timer, a short yet revealing the film series, and a photo gallery that's, well, "coming soon."
You can tell that it was professionally made as well. There is a large countdown timer that tells you that there is a little more than 38 days before the model made its global debut in Detroit. Video teaser also organized and there was even reserved for the live reveal and photo galleries, which must be filled once the model was exhibited to the media at the 2016 NAIAS.
I'll be honest; I do not think too much about this model before. I may even put it in the back of my head because there is no relevant news about it on the moon. But then the website is launched and the first episode of the video teaser was released. At the very least, you could say that my curiosity now piqued understandable.
